The short version: your email and a few answers, used only to run the waitlist. Never your child's name. No cookies.

Who we are
Fluent Family ("we", "us") is a small team based in the UK. For data protection law, the data controller for this website and the waitlist is Fahim Anjam, trading as Fluent Family. Contact: hello@fluent-family.com. ICO registration number: [to be added].
What we collect, and why

We never ask for your child's name on this website. If you join the app later, it has its own privacy notice explaining what it holds and how to delete it.
Our legal basis
- Consent for the waitlist and emails: you sign up and confirm by email, and you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
- Legitimate interests for counting visits without cookies, so we can understand whether the site works.
Who helps us
- Kit (kit.com) stores the waitlist and sends our emails. Kit is based in the US; transfers are covered by Kit's data processing terms.
- PostHog counts visits on servers in the EU, without cookies. It uses an anonymous identifier that changes every day, and we've set it to discard IP addresses.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and forwards email sent to our address.
We never sell your data or share it with anyone for their own use, and we never use it for advertising. The services above only handle it on our behalf. We email you occasionally about Fluent Family, never spam, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
Cookies
This website doesn't set cookies, and we don't use advertising pixels.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email hello@fluent-family.com and we'll reply within one month. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we'll tell you by email.
